Hi everyone! We’re excited to announce that one of our most-requested features is now live!

When you click Change on the Membership tab in a user’s profile, you’ll now see a “Scheduled date” option after selecting the new membership you’d like to assign. From there, you can simply choose from a dropdown list of available dates — which correspond to the end of the user’s current billing period.

We hope this change makes running things day-to-day a whole lot easier!

    Kind regards,

    Anna

The current process for doing this (manually cancelling a membership, and billing a new one) is clunky but workable. A "Cancel Membership, But Don't Notify" or "Customize Cancellation Notification Message" could work well as an interim solution.

Hi @Nate Day and all , current plan for this is roughly as follow, please let us know if you think this adds value.

      1. Allow you to click "Change" select the new membership and then select the date you want the change to occur to meet the main goal of this post.

      2. We would treat a changed membership differently and exclude them from showing up as cancellations and new sales, we know this currently skews reporting.

      3. We would report on memberships changed in a report in a report that highlights upgrades/downgrades so you can still track all membership activity.

      4. At the same time we would likely add a "Re-joining Members" report and also split re-joining members out from the New Membership report for further accuracy.

We think this would add a greater deal of clarity on membership changes and activity as a whole and for us they are all related.

Would you see value in this?
