Credits Expiring Reminder

Notify users in advance of their credits expiring based on the amount of credits they possess.

Description:

  1. Reminder Format: The reminder could be in the form of an email, in-app notification, or both. It should clearly state the number of credits, their expiration date, and a prompt or call-to-action to book a class.

  2. Dynamic Notification System: to be the most useful, the reminder system would ideally consider

    • The amount of credits a user has.

    • The average cost in credits of the classes.

    • The user's typical frequency of attendance.

By evaluating these factors, we can estimate a realistic period during which the user can use their credits. Consequently, users will be reminded accordingly, giving them adequate notice and opportunity to spend their credits before they expire.

    • For example:

      • If a user has 5 credits, that the average class credit cost is 5 and the average attendance per user weekly is 1, remind them 2 weeks in advance so they have the opportunity to use them.

      • If another user has 30 credits, that the average class credit cost is 10 and the average attendance per user weekly is 2, remind them 3 weeks in advance so they have the opportunity to use them.

Benefits:

  1. Increase in Bookings: By reminding users, they're more likely to book classes and use up credits.

  2. Improved Customer Satisfaction: Proactive reminders prevent users from unexpectedly losing credits, enhancing their experience and trust in the platform.

  3. Decreased Customer Support Queries: Less users reaching out about expired credits due to clear communication.
