Those of you who’ve been following our Roadmap will know that the most requested feature was the Late Payment Fee. We’re thrilled to announce that it’s finally here! 🎉

This feature is designed to help gyms reduce overdue memberships by encouraging members to keep their payment methods funded on the billing date.

Why we built this

Through our research and data analysis, we've found that the most common reason payments fail is insufficient funds. While this can happen accidentally, we know that some members intentionally ensure their accounts don't have enough money to avoid a payment.

The Late Payment Fee feature acts as a powerful deterrent. By setting a small penalty for late payments, you give your members a strong incentive to pay on time. This encourages them to ensure their payment methods are up-to-date and have sufficient funds before the billing date.

Built-in flexibility

We also understand the importance of fairness. That’s why we’ve included a configurable grace period. This gives members a short window to resolve their payment before the Late Payment Fee is applied, balancing accountability with flexibility.

By implementing this feature, you'll likely see a significant decrease in overdue memberships, making it easier for you to manage your billing and finances.
